The hat was obtained under very unique circumstances; I happened to be dispatched to Don Jr's personal home at the Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter, FL on Thursday October 26, 2023.

I was sent to operate a taxi crane at his private Florida residence for an independant contractor, working on an addition to the home. After completing the required assignment I was approached by the Trump team who had a special request; that I would use my crane to help expedite a separate construction process of theirs as the former President (at the time) was due to arrive that evening and they had fallen quite behind on their schedule.

I happily agreed to help and, a short time later, upon completion of the assistance, none other than Vanessa Trump walked up and motioned for me to have a word with her. She happily shook my hand and handed me this hat directly. I realized I had seen her come out twice before but I had failed to recognize exactly who she was. She had been out to move a couple of her vehicles from my cranes path before starting work. Upon presentation of the gift she wore a bright grin and laughed as she stated she had taken it straight from Don Jr's personal collection a few moments before and was ready to take the fall when he arrived with his Dad later on.

Can't get any more authentic than this! Don Jr may still be looking for his hat to this very day.
